Colleen teaches a wide variety of classes including: drawing, sketching, design, and all fashion / fibers related classes like weaving, quilting, sewing, fashion sketching, and more!

Fun facts: her favorite foods are french fries and pasta. She loves sloths. She can just about fall asleep anywhere!

Kim Belleavoine

In her little town of Chepachet, RI, down in her basement studio, Kim creates translucent and colorful works of art using salvaged glass panels and bottles. She graduated with a degree in Art Education and worked at Smithfield High School. Later she worked at the Golden Lam Buttery where she did gardening, grew flowers and made beautiful bouquets to showcase throughout the restaurant!

While art was always a part of her life, now she’s a full time artists with a full schedule of art shows, festivals, and workshops!!!

Aleksandra Deptula

Aleks is an abstract painter and love the Fluid Art technique!

When she was little she always dreamt of being an artist, but never believed that was something she could become. She makes art because it makes her feel good and teaches her a lot about herself and she believe it can do the same for a lot of people. Aside for her love of art and surfing, she is dedicated to working with youth. Aleksandra graduated from Salve Regina in 2016 with a degree in Psychology and Global Studies. Since graduating she has worked at various nonprofits across CT, MA, and RI.

Fun facts: She studied abroad in South Africa, where she bungee jumped and went paragliding, learned how to surf, and basically kickstarted her passion for working with youth. She loves everything about the outdoors! She surfs, which is one of the reasons she moved to Rhode Island! Aleks also enjoy doing yoga.

Mary is an artist with many creative outlets, but specializes in Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture! After high School she worked as a photographer taking school photos, then moved to Boston to continue her education. She worked with an auction house taking photographs of auction items for the catalog. She then moved to an Art Consulting firm in Boston. Eventually she eventually decided she wanted to become an educator! Mary has worked at schools such as Our Sister School in New Bedford and St Patrick Academy in Providence.

Fun facts: She loves to travel to see many different types of art. Her joy is being at the ocean.
